Preventive Maintenance -
Use walk off mats at all entrances
Make sure walk off mats are cleaned regularly
Regular vacuuming
Remove spots as soon as they happen
Try water first
Check for specific instructions from provider
NEVER rub...blot with a clean white towel

Routine Cleaning:
Vacuuming
Dust or damp moping
Walk off mats at exterior entrances
Do not use any waxes or "mop and shine" products on your floor.
Do not use any abrasive pagds and cleaners which may damage the finish.
Use caution when moving large applicance and use floor protectors with all furniture.

 
Vinyl: Right after Installation..

Keep traffic light during the first 24 hours
If floor has been seamed, avoid stepping on the seam sealer for 24 hours.
Avoid scrubbing or washing floor for at least 3 days after installation. Spot clean floor, avoid all seams. Clean any adhesive with clean white cloth dampeded with mineral spirits.
Use doormats outside each entrance
DO NOT put rubber-backed, latex-backed or cocofiber mats on your floor because they will stain or damage your vinyl.
Close curtains or blinds where extreme sunlight hits the floor. It can fade and damage floor coverings.
Always use caution when moving applicances and use floor protectors with all furniture.
Sweep your floor regularly (at least once per week)
Damp mop with recommended cleaner or water.
Prevent stains by wiping spills promptly.
CERAMIC

Seal all seams with a grout seam seal.
Clean with water or hard surface cleaner
